Living Room

The living room is full of quirky touches and luxurious comfort – whether you’re turning on the 1940s brass-moulded searchlights, salvaged from old Cornish fishing ships, or relaxing on the love seat in front of the log burner and watching Netflix on the 50-inch smart television.

The magnificent, L-shaped sofa has room for you and all your friends to relax on while you enjoy the breathtaking views from the 30-foot-long, curved windows. Search for Nessie and any other local wildlife with the high-tech zoom telescope.

At the end of the day, you can sink into the comfortable, original Louis XVI armchairs, lovingly reupholstered with raw silks–the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing dram of whisky.

Kitchen

If, as Nigella Lawson says, the kitchen is the heart of the home, then Point Clair House’s heart is as warm, welcoming and modern as you would expect.

Pour yourself a glass of water and marvel at the clarity – the house’s water supply comes directly from Loch Ness itself and tastes as fresh as you would expect.

In the newly fitted galley kitchen, you’ll find an American style fridge-freezer, two sinks, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine and a range cooker with seven burners and three oven compartments.

This kitchen truly is the first ingredient you’ll need in preparing a delicious feast.

Breakfast Room

A ten-seater table is the majestic centrepiece in the breakfast room, with more than enough space for everyone to enjoy a delicious morning meal.

Look out for the room’s unexpected touches, such as the original Royals typewriter that once belonged to a New York writer,or the quirky 1940s brass-moulded searchlight from Cornwall.

Dining Room

Gather all the family – there’s plenty room for everyone to feast at the four-metre table.

Made of reclaimed wood from a 150-year-old cathedral door, the table was flown to Scotland all the way from Denmark and has enough space for twelve people to gather around.

For a romantic atmosphere, switch on the droplet chandeliers from Barcelona and watch them cascade their beautiful light around the room.

A local carpenter and metal welder created the modern, industrial-style sideboard, a completely unique piece of furniture that provides the home for an exquisite Royal Doulton dinner set.

Utility Room

Should you wish to do any laundry during your stay, the utility room is kitted out with a sink, washing machine and dryer. The room also contains a spare fridge-freezer.

Cinema Room

Close the curtains, dim the lights and press play!
Whether you’re sitting on the reupholstered, velvet theatre seats or relaxing on the front row with popcorn, you’ll enjoy watching built-in Sky or Netflix on the 90-inch, state-of-the-art television with surround sound.

That distinctive feeling of being at the cinema has been perfectly recreated thanks to the 1930s theatre seats, laid out on two levels.

The room is a tribute to everything cinematic, featuring a vintage projector imported from New York and walls crammed with framed movie posters.
Once the credits start to roll, why not bring out your competitive side with the PlayStation and extensive collection of games?

Games Room

Let the games begin!
Break off on the top-of-the-range American Viper pool table or compete on the football table, finished with a glass top so you’ll never have to scramble around looking for the ball!

Originally a large, double garage, the converted games room features floor lighting, vintage posters and fluorescent beer signs, creating that authentic arcade and bar feel.

Choose from over 1,500 virtual games to play on the arcade machine – you might never be able to prise the kids away!
